Christmas 2011, part 1

Christmas day 2011… the words that come to mind immediately are laughter & family. I’d been waiting for so long to get a good family “fix.” For example, I hadn’t seen Sarah since our wedding last September! So, being with everyone at Christmas felt like a long drink of cool water. I love my family. I feel so blessed to have such a fun, loving, close extended family.:)Enjoy a look into our Christmas day full of games, laughter & even a little dancing.

I’m not sure exactly what Uncle David was doing here, but I’m guessing it has to do with a story… and I found it hilarious

Rachael wearing the scarf I finally finished for her (it was only 2 years late)!

Isn’t my Mom just the cutest?

Aunt Elaine makes me laugh (and Sarah too, apparently)

Ham. I wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn’t have at least ONE food photo on here… haha…

oh, and to the right of the ham, those green beans wrapped in bacon were my favorite part of dinner. Yum!

I love when Grandpa laughs really hard. Oh, and there’s Tanner bringing me some dessert like the loving husband he is:)

Mom & Dad dancing it up

Daniel is giving Aunt Susie a “You better watch out” look as they start their Spades game

These are some of my favorites from the day:)

BaSu vs. AnDa… quite a hilarious game!

And I’ll end with the last one of the night when Meghan, Jenna, Josh, Stephen & Daniel started a new game.

More fun game photos coming in tomorrow’s post: Christmas, part 2.

Happy Thursday!
