Audrey & Chris – Engagement

You never know where you might meet someone. I’m sure the day Audrey met Chris she was just expecting to do her best at work, not meet her future husband. Times and jobs have changed over the past four years, but their love that sparked that day has remained constant.

Surrounded by 300 + acres of gorgeous countryside is the cabin Audrey and her family have been going to since she was a little girl. Since they’ve been together, Chris has joined her family there for Thanksgiving. Last year, he brought his parents along too. That clear Thanksgiving night, Chris convinced Audrey to take a walk with him. It was pitch black – the kind of darkness that causes the entire sky of stars to suddenly appear before you clear as crystal. It was then that Chris asked Audrey to be by his side to walk through life’s darkest times together. Forever.

Audrey & Chris – You two make me smile! I’m sure everyone you meet feels this way, but I just love being around you! Your love for each other is adorable, and your love for life and enthusiasm are so refreshing. Seriously. I’m so excited for your wedding in October! And a special Thank you to Kristen for sending y’all my way!

I love when couples laugh, joke and relax in front of my camera:)

Audrey chose the land around her parents house in Woodstock for their engagement session location. I loved the rolling pasture, the bales of freshly harvested hay and the amazing trees!

Audrey has such a great smile, don’t you think?

One of my favorite images of the day! Love me some yummy sunset light and a couple totally into each other!

This is probably the coolest and possibly the oldest oak tree I’ve ever seen. Audrey said she’s made it a habit to take a photo with it just about every season. I loved carrying on the tradition. And that bathtub/old horse trough next to it? How cool is that?
