Absolutely! I adore travel & would love to chat about your out of state or destination wedding! Travel fees are calculated on a client by client basis, so be sure to inquire if you’d like more information!

Yes! I love film and adore incorporating it during engagement sessions and on the wedding day! My process and style is a combination of film and digital, which means you get the best medium (film or digital) for each moment depending on time and light available. Each are processed to look lovely side by side and together as a whole.

Absolutely! It’s part of my process as a photographer to select and finish your pictures so that you’re receiving a truly polished product - ready to print and share! All film is processed, developed and scanned by my fabulous lab in California. I sort through the thousands of digital images shot on your wedding day, select the best (ones where everyone’s looking, not blinking, etc) and color correct and process those as well.

First, I’ll set up an online contract for us to review and sign. At the time of booking, a deposit of $1500 is required to save the date.

Planning is one of the biggest factors in helping the wedding day flow smoothly! Because of this, I create a Wedding Day Photo Timeline for each of my couples to insure the day flows as smoothly as possible! I love the light available in the last two hours before sunset & would love to create a timeline that takes advantage of that great light!

A First Look is when a Bride and Groom choose to see each other before the Ceremony. Often in a secluded location, the First Look is a great way to spend more time with each other on the wedding day! It’s also a perfect solution for couples who’d like to spend the cocktail hour mingling with guests instead of posing for photos as you have the opportunity to take your posed photos before the ceremony.

I chose to do a First Look on my wedding day & it was one of the best decisions that I made!

That being said, it’s fine to wait until the ceremony to see each other as well! I encourage couples who are going this route to plan at least an hour for portraits in between the ceremony and reception.

To start, I suggest thinking through places that are important in your relationship - Where you got engaged, where you went on your first date, etc.

Next, think through your family & friends - does someone you know have access to a unique location that’s not typically open to the public? A family lake house, a boat, or beachside property? Picking a location not available to the public is a great way to insure that your engagement session is unique!

Lastly, I’m here to help you find a place! Know you want a garden vibe but not sure exactly where? Want an elegant Southern location but not sure where to start? Feel free to reach out & we can research places together until we find the perfect location!

One more note - I love mixing a combination of more traditional portraits with more interactive, candid moments during an Engagement session. Passionate about cooking together? Let’s end the session in the kitchen! Love sipping wine on the patio in the summer? I could capture you two enjoying a glass on the patio of a local restaurant!

Most importantly - choose outfits that you both feel comfortable in & that reflect your personalities! Avoid being too “matchy matchy,” instead, choose colors and patterns that work well together. I also suggest picking outfits with colors that compliment the location. For example, if your session is taking place in a natural environment (like a park or garden), I suggest going with shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, blue, etc. which will really pop in a natural setting. For more urban settings with a lot of neutral colors, I suggest picking bolder colors (instead of neutrals) that really pop in that scenario. Stripes, polka dots and patterns are lovely as well!

Following the wedding, you will have access to your full online wedding gallery 4-6 weeks after the wedding day.
After an Engagement session, images will be ready within 2-3 weeks.
